Q: What are my options
if I decide to reroof?
A: You have two basic
options: You can choose a complete replacement of the roof system, involving a
tear-off of your existing roof system, or re-cover the existing roof system,
involving only the installation of a new roof system. Ohio regulations now allow only two layers of roofing material.
Q: My roof leaks.
Do I need to have it replaced completely?
A: Not necessarily.
Leaks can result from flashings that have come loose or a section of the roof
system being damaged. Many apparent roof leaks really are flashing
leaks. Without good, tight flashings around chimneys, vents, skylights and
wall/roof junctions, water can enter your home. A complete
roof system failure, however, generally is irreversible and a new roof will be
How much will it cost?
A: The cost of a new roof depends upon the size of the roof and whether a tear-off
is needed. We understand that the purchase a new roof is a major decision. So
we offer a FREE estimate which we put in writing and mail to you for you to
examine at your leisure. We are a family company and most of our business is
word-of-mouth. Greg Wentz, the owner, will personally come and do your estimate

Q: How do I find a reputable company? I don't want to be the victim of a roofing scam!
A: In February 2012, Attorney General Mike DeWine issued a statement encouraging consumers to:
- Research businesses with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and Better Business Bureau before signing a contract or making any payments.
- Ask for a written contract that details the work to be done, the time the project will take and its full cost.
- Obtain several estimates before selecting a contractor.
- Never pay for the work in cash or in full before the work is completed.
